Yijing Wang is a doctorate student specializing in modern and contemporary Chinese art history in the Henry Clay Frick Department of the History of Art and Architecture at the University of Pittsburgh. His current research interests include time, memory, place and language in the art of contemporary China and the historicity of modernity in the Chinese context.
